There is a man named Tim Carpenter who has a website called "isawthelightministries". I have known Tim for several years having written to him and visited with him I believe in 2015. Tim was hyper about prophecies that he felt would take place very soon. Such as he posted in many newletters that there would be a terrorist attack that would destroy the Hoover Dam and he posted dates that this would happen on or by. Date after date went by and nothing happened. Let me add that when I visited Tim, he was living in a tent near Cosby, TN that is about 25 miles from Gatlinbury, TN and near the North Carolina border. There was a lady living in a tent nearby his tent that was there because of what Tim had written. He told me that he was preparing the way to 'bug out' and live in the wilderness to escape what was going to happen to persecute real Christians. Tim was trying to get others to come and camp out near him so he could teach them what God was telling him.
After not hearing from Tim for at least a year, I went to his website to find out how he was doing. What a change. No longer was he pushing prophecies so much as he was attacking others for using what he called pagan Bibles which he called the King James Version (KJV) the most satanic of the lot. He claimed the Gatlinburg fire was the result of God's judgment and had destroyed 1,000 KJV of the Bible.
When I first contacted Tim, he was reserved and hardly identified himself. If he put his name down he would put Brother Tim. Now, I find he identitfies himself as the Apostle Tim ( I cannot help but wonder if the next time I check his website, I will find that he is calling himeself, Pope Tim). It appears he has gotten others to support what he is doing and is now doing radio or internet podcasts. Some way he has now associated himself and bought into the teachings of the Sacred Names groups. These people believe that everyone but themselves are 'lost' because they do not use the Hebrew names of God and Bibles that correctly use these names.
I do not want to go any further about the unscriptural and totally wrong doctrines and practices of these Sacred Names groups along with the Hebrew Roots groups. Keep away from them or you will be in danger. Tim's new group may be going the way of David Koresh's Waco group.
Tim states in his last email to me:

"Actually to be honest with you, until you repent of your promotion of the KJV as the most dependable bible to use, I have NO desire to meet with you ever again or to even converse with you in email. JEsus has declared HIS feelings about this matter & has provided MORE than enough PROOF that KJV is a Catholic, Freemason, very corrupted text. HE has always provided MORE than enough PROOF that NASB & The Alpha & Omega Bible are FAR more accurate. It's up to you read, research, pray & fast, and accept the Truth. Until you give up your worship of the KJV, you will be held back and hindered in much farther Spiritual growth and understanding. KJV was good for milk when we were in Babylon. But now that I've been delivered from Babylon, I do not seek to compromise with their traditional bible with witchcraft names that comes from Assyrian origin. JEsus WILL burn every copy of the KJV when HE comes and probably even before then, as HE already burned over 1,000 copies in the Gatlinburg Fire as I explained".
How's that for a reply. His words imply that Ole' Tim has become a real bully as he mixes in a lot of supposed "PROOF" without really saying anything; in truth he demands that I and everyone bow down to him and his words. Actually, Tim is less than half my age and has a very troubled past. His beliefs are a mix of some truths and a lot of self agrandizment. Now he thinks he can stop others from growing Spiritually. To start off a letter to someone demanding they immediately and totally change what they believe or he has "NO desire to meet with you ever again or to even converse with you in email." These are not the words of a normal rational person who is truly trying to follow the teachings and example of Jesus Christ.
I will pray for you Tim.
Don't know where you are going, Tim, but I am telling everyone to stay clear of you for no good will come of it.
Warning! The following books are full of lies and deceit.
Books such as Four Blood Moons by John Hagee and The Harbinger and The Mystery of the Shemitah, both by Jonathan Cahn are exploiting the ignorance of a great many Christians as to Bible prophecy and other Biblical truths. Their words are trying to work people into a frenzy and panic that the Great Tribulation and Day of the Lord is imminent. Hagee pushes the false hope of a rapture of the church before these horrors begin. Checkout my Prophecy secton and particularly my article entitiled The Rapture Doctrine is a Hoax
Going the Wrong Way! 119 Ministries, website. I initially liked the founders and some of their presentations. However, their stance on keeping Old Testament Mosaic laws meant only for the children of Israel goes against New Covenant teachings. I have reached out to this group, hoping they will study some of my articles and then tell me that they agree and are changing or they disagree and why. If their disagreement is properly backed by applicable scripture then I may be the one changing.
So far, there has been no response by anyone within the 119 Ministries.
Danger! At this point, I am adding all Hebrew Roots and Messianic Jews to this list as dangerous. These people are trying to undermine the faith of Christians from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and have them engaged in Jewish Traditions and Practices of the Old Covenant thereby rejecting the New Covenant given mankind bought by the blood of our Savior. 29Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Extreme Danger! Be very careful regarding those who practice Pentecostalism and websites that support Pentecostalism. Avoid in general. I have found the Pentecostal Movement and those who are part of it to be extremely deceptive and full of wrong practices. Read the history of this movement and you will see that in the past and present it is full of charlatans praying on many people who do not fully understand what the Bible teaches. What I fear the most in this group is their emphasis on miracles, signs, and wonders and most do not even care to check up to see if these are real or not, while at the same time their leaders as well as they themselves are generally scriptural illiterates. Jesus Christ warned His followers that in the end time the Anti-Christ would amaze and captivate the world with his signs and wonders (Matthew 24: 24).
